Boko Haram members lament Snake bites and spiritual attacks in Sambisa forest

Boko Haram members are now fleeing the Sambisa forest to local governments areas across Borno State owing to strange developments in the forest, believed to be a spiritual attack, Dailypost reports.
This hint was given by two members of the Islamic militants arrested on Wednesday at Mairi ward behind University of Maiduguri by members of the Civilian JTF.
According to Kolo Mustapha, one of the insurgents arrested, snakes are now attacking them in the forest.

“Most of us are fleeing because there are too many snakes now in the forest, once they bite, they disappeared and the victims do not last for 24 hours.

“We were told that the people of Chibok local government are the ones turning into snake and attacking us in the forest”, he disclosed.

He said some of their leaders have escaped to Cameroon because they are known to the Nigerian authorities and could be easily identified.
According to him, those of them who lived all their lives in Maiduguri have nowhere to go but to return to the town.
He said they came in Tuesday and were trying to hide in some uncompleted building when some members of the Civilian JTF identified and arrested.

“We are pleading with them to spare our lives, we were forced into the sect, but we know that it is not the right way. I have never killed anyone, but my friend here has killed people”, he said.

Umar Abor, the other sect member arrested said Kolo Mustapha was lying as all of them had participated in all heinous acts by the sect in the past.

“We have fought together since 2010, we have fought in Marte, Bama, Buni Yadima and Gwoza. We were not in Chibok, we have not seen the girls but we heard about it. Our leaders have been talking about it and we have been following all news from the radio.

“We decided to flee when almost all our comrades are leaving the Sambisa because of constant attacks by snakes, which we were told was as a result of the Chibok girls abducted.

“They (our leaders) told us that it was the people of Chibok that are hunting us through diabolical means in the form of snakes. We were in the forest in 2010 and 2011; we left and came back last year but we have never experienced snakes as this year. It is believed that the Chibok people are using “juju” to pursue us because of their children”, he said.

According to him, they had realized their mistakes and had turned a new leaf.
The also promised that if spared, they would help the community in fishing out some of their members.
Ali Musa, leader of the Civilian JTF at Bama road, who arrested the sect members told DailyPost that many of them have been fleeing the Sambisa forest since last two weeks.

“These ones have not attempted to run or do anything stupid, they promised to take us to where they hide their weapons, now we are taking them to our chairman in sector 5, before they will be handed over to security operatives.

“We have arrested dozens since last week while they were trying to come to town”, he added.

According to sources very close to the actress, Juliet claims that the marriage was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened. She said that; she got involved with Kwadwo Safo briefly and in the course of the friendship, she got pregnant.
The unplanned pregnancy is what caused Kwadwo to marry her.The actress shockingly claims that Kwadwo Safo’s gamily did not support the marriage from the onset. The family of her husband failed to show up for the marriage ceremony and have openly showed their disapproval and lack of support for the marriage.
Juliet also said that; the marriage ended over a year and half ago and another reason for the break up was that – Kwadwo Safo got involved with another lady who was as fair as she (Juliet) and competed for the love and attention of her husband. The source claims that Juliet was overly angry at her husband because the fair complexion of the said lady was as a result of bleaching; so, she wondered why her husband would go in for somebody like that.
Juliet also claims that although the marriage ended sometime ago, she and Kwadwo have continued to remain good friends and meet and talk when it becomes necessary.
In another related twist, Juliet is said to have been in a serious relationship with Nigerian model/actor IK Ogbonna right after her marriage collapsed. She spends most of her time in Nigeria and she is reported to have spent quality time with IK. The model even featured in Juliet Ibrahim’s music video to her lukewarm single released months ago.
Juliet and IK broke up recently and IK is reported to have used his social media page to plead to the actress for forgiveness and seeking a comeback.
Razz also spoke to Kwadwo Safo on his take over the news of their break up and he responded that; he’s a very reserved person so the public can rely on Juliet’s side of the issue. He said that; he doesn’t believe in discussing his personal issues in public so anything that comes from Juliet should be considered the truth.
He added that, Juliet Ibrahim is the one who has a story to tell but he doesn’t. He would rather prefer the media to talk on the new ‘4×4 kantanka’ act that he and his father are working on and bringing unto the market.

Meriam Ibrahim was detained on Tuesday, a day after a court released her, annulling the death sentence imposed on her for renouncing the Islamic faith.

Mrs Ibrahim’s lawyer, Elsherif Ali told reporters that Sudan's security service had accused Mrs Ibrahim of forging her document and is now being held at a local police station in Khartoum.

South Sudan embassy have however came out and said that the travel documents they issued are genuine.

Her husband, Wani hails from South Sudan but she is Sudanese and the Sudan’s intelligence agency are now saying she can't use another country’s travel document, stamped with a US visa.

They said: “She came to the airport in an American embassy car – which was bullet proof and heavily guarded. There is something fishy about turning up in a foreign car – something not normal to come in a bullet proof car and guarded by the US embassy,”.

“Everyone knows she is Sudanese. We know she is Sudanese… imagine a British citizen trying to travel wherever appearing at the airport carrying an emergency document from Costa Rica. This is a violation of emigration law anywhere in the world,”.

He missed Uruguay's World Cup semifinal against the Netherlands four years ago after being sent for a handball on the line that denied Ghana what would have been a match-winning goal in the final minute of extra time in a quarterfinal match.

"I have watched the incident several times on television. There is no doubt Luis Suarez is a fantastic footballer but once again his actions have left him open to severe criticism. FIFA must investigate the incident seriously and take whatever disciplinary action is deemed necessary," FIFA executive committee member Jim Boyce said.
