Jesus Would Have Supported Gay Marriage’ Says Elton John

Elton John has said he believes Jesus would be fine with gay marriage if he were alive today. The veteran singer, who plans to marry his civil partner David Furnish next year in a “very quiet” ceremony, told Sky News that in his view, Jesus would accept it because he was “all about love and compassion”.

He claimed that rules preventing gay priests from marrying and requiring Catholic priests to be celibate were “old and stupid”.

“If Jesus was alive today, I cannot see him, as the Christian person that he was and the great person that he was, saying this could not happen, ” he told Sky News.

“He was all about love and compassion and forgiveness and trying to bring people together and that is what the church should be about.”

He praised Pope Francis for making the Catholic Church more about “inclusiveness”, saying that this “has to be encouraged by the Church of England as well”.

He described the pontiff as a “wonderful” man whose tolerance was an example to the Church.

“The new Pope has been wonderful, he’s excited me so much,” Sir Elton said.

“He’s stripped it [the Church] down to the bare bones and said it’s all basically about love.”

Sir Elton previously courted controversy on the subject in 2010 when he declared that Jesus was gay, telling a magazine: “I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems.”

''I want a woman who can go to the saloon with me, not hypocritical, fame seeking'' - Denrele Edun

Denrele Edun who just turned 31 talked to the Nigerian Tribune about gay allegations and dating ladies..He also denied bleaching and talked about his scandal with Charly boy..Ladies would be happy because he is actually single and searching...
"I am not dating anybody for now. I am single and searching.Eh! My people, make una come put ring o! My mother has been mounting pressure. My father has been telling me. My uncle, my grandmother, everyone wan make I marry.I think when that time comes, I will marry. I have been into many relationships. I have dated girls who would want to do anything I tell them. I want a woman who can hold her own. I don’t want a woman who cannot make dialogue with me. I don’t want a woman who will want to change me because she should already know who Denrele is. I don’t want to hear, “my father said you cannot dress like that” I will be like, “Oya, come and carry your witch and go. And return me my bride price before you go”. I want a woman who is not pretentious, hypocritical or a fame seeker. I want someone who is original. I want somebody I can go to the salon together (with) to make our hair; who wouldn’t mind if people are talking. I love a woman that can wear heels. It may sound flimsy. I love girls on heels. This is why I have always had a thing for models. If my wife cannot wear heels...
Here you are talking about marriage, while people have described you as gay. What do you have to say?
I’m aware of it. In fact, a lot of people have come with different terminologies for my sexual preference. They have labelled me homosexual, heterosexual. Some have said I am bi-sexual, asexual. I think I am a sexual outlaw; that is the best way to describe it. Am I gay? I am a sexual outlaw. Gbam!
What does that mean?
I don’t know. I don’t even know what my sexual preference is. The media have blown my sexuality out of proportion. Maybe it is because I am feminine in nature, or because I look like my mother or because of the way I dress. My clothes are the reflection of my personality, but people use it to judge my sexual preference. And if people want to continually judge me because of my dressing, they should go ahead.
Does it mean you are not gay?
People can say what they like. You know, this can be a mystery. If people keep pondering on it, it will remain a mystery. If I give the answer now, una no go dey wonder about anything. Make una dey ponder dey go.
Are you using this to keep the attention on yourself?
Not quite; it’s just for the fun of it, really. I am not one of those people who would want to deliberate on people’s sexual preference. I really cannot be bothered about things like that. But it is so funny how people have made a big deal out of it. It’s not about attention. Otherwise, I would have been suing this or that newspaper for saying this or that thing about me. I really can’t be bothered.
What is the worst thing that has happened to you for being who you are?
I think it is the scandals. And I can handle scandals well but people have fabricated so much about me. They say I have a child somewhere that I have abandoned. They say I am bleaching my skin – that is even the one they are using to chase me up and down. If only people can see me when I wake up in the morning, then they will know whether I am bleaching on not.
Would you like to clear the air on that?
Of recent, I discovered my love for powder. I normally like to wear the one that is lighter than me, so anytime I use this powder and my face becomes fairer, people will begin to say I am bleaching. Someone recently said to me on Twitter: ‘Denrele has bleached his destiny away’.  Another said, ‘Denrele is looking like Michael Jackson in his time of death’. Somebody said, ‘Denrele looks like the remains of a ghastly car crash’. This is the one that will trip you. The person said, ‘Denrele looks like the spirit behind this recent fuel scarcity’. I thought that was a classic one. I have received a lot from people, especially during the period I went through the Charly Boy/Denrele saga. They said I kissed Charly Boy and I was trying to cause problems in his matrimonial home. Nigerians took it upon themselves to judge the freaking daylight out of me. They tried to pull me down at any opportunity they could get. But for where? Nothing can put me down

Gorgeous wife of popular Co-owner of Prime Time Entertainment, Dayo ‘D-One’ Adeneye, Caroline Adeneye who met her hubby many years ago when she went house searching after she left school and landed in the compound of her landlord who later turned out to be her father-in-law, Pa Samuel Ayodele Adeneye, has relished her love life since her marriage to Dayo and the reasons their marriage is intact.
According to Caroline, Dayo her husband pushes and aspires her towards success, as he sees no wrong with his wife been richer or wealthier than him, but rather sees it as a blessing, which is one of the many reasons she loves him the most for. Also, the fact that he doesn't like her been idle and gives her room to take care of her needs, shares her business and successes with her, encourages her and gives her room to grow, which she says is still found wanting amongst most Nigerians in this dispensation.
Furthermore, she went on to add that D-One is too strict for her liking which most people don’t know about him. For her, her hubby is firm which makes it quite difficult for him to change his mind whenever he has made up his mind on something. As well as very calculative and doesn't react quickly, but at the end, the result of what he believes in starts to show and there is the need to appreciate his stance, which he also impacts on the children.
Liked by her father-in-law for her good manners and aware she would make a good wife to one of his sons, where in decided to woo her for Adeneye, Caroline claims she is married to Dayo Adeneye and not ‘D-One’, for D-One stops at the gate , when he is home, he is Dayo Adeneye.
They go through what every couple go through in marriage, they have had their arguments and make peace, and so do not think there is anything different, as she doesn't seem threatened with the whole lots of ladies who wants her husband.
Caroline is the MD/CEO of Sierra Global Concepts, a fully fledged events and corporate gifts company.

Untold story of Juliet Ibrahim’s crashed marriage!

It is no longer news that Juliet Ibrahim’s marriage has crashed, rather what is news are the circumstances that led to the break up of her 4-year old marriage.
The news went viral during the week that the popular Ghanaian actress has finally parted ways with her husband,Kwadwo Safo Junior, son of Ghanaian inventor and leader of Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo to the surprise of her teeming fans.
The 28-year-old actress, released a press statement through her publicist, Bunmi Odunowo, officially announcing her divorce from her husband and pleading with her fans to accept and respect their decision. She said, her decision to play down the divorce was because the two parties would not be distracted from their responsibilities towards their child. “Juliet Ibrahim has found it necessary to let her fans know today that, she has filed for a divorce and it is final. She is no more married to Kwadwo Safo and the marriage ended a while back.
With the interest of an innocent child on the table, we ask that you treat this difficult but necessary decision to put her divorce out there for her fans to know with utmost respect,” the statement reads. Meanwhile, reports had it that the reasons behind the breakup may not be unconnected with the claims of the fair-complexioned actress that “the marriage was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened.” She was quoted as saying that she got involved with her ex-husband briefly and in the course of the friendship, she got pregnant for him. The unplanned pregnancy is what caused Kwadwo to marry her.
The actress, also shockingly claimed that Kwadwo Safo’s gamily did not support the marriage from the onset. The family of her husband failed to show up for the marriage ceremony and have openly showed their disapproval and lack of support for the marriage. Revealing further, Juliet said the marriage ended over a year and half ago.
But in another twist, Juliet is said to have been in a serious relationship with Nigerian-born model cum actor, IK Ogbonna immediately after her marriage collapsed. She spends most of her time in Nigeria and she is reported to have spent quality time with IK. The model even featured in Juliet Ibrahim’s music video to her lukewarm single released months ago. Juliet and IK broke up recently and IK is reported to have used his social media page to plead to the actress for forgiveness and seeking a comeback.

Senator Mohammed further directed that all security personnel using motorcycles should obtain permits from the FCT Commissioner of Police and the FCT transportation secretariat. He said, in addition, the officer should be properly kitted in their uniform and helmet. The letter revealed the intention of the FCT administration to, as a matter of urgency evolve necessary bylaws and security protocols that will indicate minimal security requirements in private and public institutions as well as other congregational locations in the Federal Capital Territory for compliance and enforcement. The administration will also embark on “Know Your Neighbor Campaign” as a veritable strategy to promote neighborhood security awareness among residents

INCREDIBLE!! The Queen of England has worn the same shoes for 50 years!

Yes, the 88 year old Queen of England does wear the classic black shoe costs about £1,000 and she's been rocking the same pair for 50 years years and re-heeling them when they wear out. She initially started out with a brown pair in 1969, but switched to black and hasn't worn any other shoe since then..It takes a team of four to produce the shoes..

That says a lot about her personality as a faithful woman, despite most of the scandals and divorce which rocks royal families, she has been married since 1947 to Prince Philip, Duke of  Edinburgh.
He is the longest-serving, oldest-ever spouse of a reigning British monarch, and the longest-lived female member of the British royal family.

How Charly Boy Stormed Out During Imo State Govt Organised Tribute For Late Dad

CharlyBoy had earlier on warned politicians against turning his late father's burial into a party thing. Turns out he kept true to his word. Because last Wednesday, Charlyboy stormed out with his family during a colloquium organized in honour of his late father by the Imo State government
Charley Boy explained why he had to do that, accusing Governor Rochas Okorocha of trying to use his father’s burial to score cheap political points.
He said the government held a colloquium in honour of his late father and that despite his earlier warning that the burial should not be politicized, Governor Okorocha gathered all the members of his political party and wanted to turn the event into an APC rally.
The event, tagged Day of Tributes for Late Oputa, which saw Governor Rochas Okorocha, his deputy, Eze Madumere; Senator Chris Ngige; national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Odigie Oyegun, former deputy governor of Imo State, Dr. Douglas Acholonu, and many dignitaries present held at the newly built International Conference Centre in Owerri.
Trouble however started when the master of the ceremony announced that the next person to speak would be the national chairman of APC, Oyegun. No sooner had the APC boss mounted the rostrum than the angry Charley Boy fumed about how his father’s burial was being turned into APC event. He suddenly rose from his seat and stormed out of the event taking his siblings and family members along.

I’m a virgin, I know nothing about sex! - Seyi Hunter

When Afro-pop singer, Adokiye declared she was avirgin in a chat with Vanguard’s Potpourrirecently, many thought she couldpossibly be the last of the virgins in the Nigerian entertainment industry. But it seems there are others, at least one other, as another entertainer, Seyi Hunter has come out to declare she is a virgin as well.

A Performing Arts, Industrial and Labour Relations’graduate from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Seyi, born of an Igbo father and Akwa-Ibom mother, started out her career in the Yoruba sector and has since featured in close to twenty films in both Yoruba and English language movies.
In this interview with Showtime Celebrity, the wave-making actress talks about her career, passion, secrets and fears, among other issues:
When and how did you start acting professionally?
I started acting in 2011. I entered the industry through Funsho Adeolu. I met him at a movie location.
What has been your experience since you started?
It’s been tough. But with God on my side, I’ve been able to achieve a lot within the short period I’ve been in the industry.
Which movies have you done?
Broken Fixtures, Pain, Many Days-One day, My Club, MM Girls, Insanity, etc. TheYoruba movies include Rukayat, Alenibare, etc.
Since you do both the Yoruba and English genre of Nollywood movies, which would you say is better and has been most favourable to you?
The English movies have been really favourable to me. The threelead roles I’ve played are in English movies. I usually play minor roles in the Yoruba movies. If I were to assess both sectors, I’d say they are both good and that’s why I’m doing both.
What challenges do you encounter as an upcoming actress in the industry?
The truth is they don’t really pay us well as upcoming actresses. Another challenge is getting roles. Though for me, God has been faithful. When I go to any location or for a production, I get another job from that one. It’s as if one job gives birth to another. So far, people I’ve met are people who want to help me, who are willing to stick their necks out for me. People like Collins Onwochei, Chico Ejiro, Damijo Efe Young, Funsho Adeolu and others.
What would you say is your selling point?
(Laughs) Look at me now. It’s not as if I’m so endowed physically. I’m just one humble girl next door. Favour is my selling point.
If you could change anything in the industry, what would that be?
It’s the practice of not paying or appreciating new actresses. They feel that because you’re upcoming, they are doing you a favour by featuring you in the movie. That’s one trend I’d like to change. I have told myself that whatever production I do, everyone must be paid as long as you worked on that set, you should be paid for it. Besides that, I think Nollywood has improved a lot.
What would you have been, if you weren’t an actress?
I think probably a dancer. I used to dance and then I stopped and started acting. So, I would have been dancing or modelling if I wasn’t acting. I love to entertain, so I would still be in the entertainment industry. The truth is I’ve always wanted to act, though I started as a dancer.
What’s your view on pornography in the industry?
So far I’ve not done any pornographic movie and I’ve not gotten any pornographic script.
What if you were asked to, would you?
Let that time come first. When I get to that bridge, I would cross it.
Can you go nude in a movie?
I can’t go stark nude in any movie. I can’t even strip naked in front of any body.
Would you have sex in a movie?
We don’t have real sex in movies, it’s make-believe, we don’t do the real thing. I can kiss, smooch and touch. It’s my job, there’s nothing to it and it ends there, it doesn’t go beyond the camera.
Would you date a guy in the industry?
I can if I meet the right person.
How important is money to you when it comes to your choice of man?
I’m not lookingfor a stinkingly rich man. If he has allthe money without good attributes, then he’s not for me. I like humblepeople. So, he has to be humble, God-fearing, extremely nice, very romantic and loving.
Define your fashion style?
I’m just an ordinary person when it comes to fashion. I wear things I’m comfortable in, I don’tfollow trends. As long as it suits me and I’m comfortable in it, I go with it.
Can you talk about the Children’s Day Party you recently organised?
It was actually thebrainchild of my company, Hunter’s Media. It’s a partnership firm I run. I had always wanted to do things for children because my growing up wasn’t rosy.
I lost my dad at a very tender age, my mum was a housewife and I had a lot of sibling. My adopted baby sister died when she was just eleven months old. It really affected me a lot because I practically took care of her and she died in my arms after being admitted in the hospital for three months.
That incident shook me a lot and I was just 15 at the time. That was part of the motivation for the Children’s Day Party. And I love children a lot. This event is going to give birth to an NGO and we will be organising it yearly for special kids. That was the initial plan, but I’ve started making enquiries on how to interact with special kids so that I can relate with them without a third party.
Are you planning to go into movie production like some of your colleagues are doing?
Yes, my media company is into film production, documentary, rental of equipment, modelling and photography. I’m presently taking a photography course.
How do you unwind?
I’m basically an indoorperson. I hardly go out, but once in a while, my friends and colleagues drag me out. I just like to read novels and watch movies.
What was your childhood like?
My childhood was fun. I grew up in a polygamoushome. I had a lot of brothers and sisters, so it was a full house. I grew up in Surulere.
Educational Background?
My primary and secondary education were in Surulere. Then, I had my university education at the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State where I studied Performing Arts.

Where do you hope to be in the nearest future?
I hope that my media company alongside my NGO will grow bigger. I can’t even picture how big it is, because it is bigger than my imagination. I hope to see myself at the top soonest, by God’s grace.
Who in the industry do you hope to be like?
My name is Seyi Hunter. There’s only one me, so I want to be me. I admire my colleagues, they are good and beautiful. They are super role models and I love them.

Which top actors have you worked with?
I’ve worked with Tonto Dike, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Aimakun, Funsho Adeolu, Collins Onwochei and others.

What was your first time on set like?
The movie was a Yoruba movie, Aromodomo. It was shot in Ibadan. I was a bit nervous at first and Funsho Adeolu was the one who encouraged me. He told me to imagine I was in a theatre hall about to have a stage play with my colleagues. That was how I was able to flow.

What’s the most challenging role you’ve played so far?
Broken Fixtures, where I had to kiss and romance. The role I played in My Club was also challenging because I had to drink and smoke, which I don’t do in real life.
Is there a role you would turn down?
As long as I’m not required to have actual sex, I can’t turn down any role.

Who’s your ideal man?
My ideal man is someone who is God-fearing, understands me and my job, someone who is loving and extremely caring. He also has to be nice to a fault.
Are you in a relationship?
Yes. I was attracted to him because of the fact that he’s born again, spoils me with gifts and puts my needs before his own.
Sex and money, which is more important to you in a relationship?
I know nothing about sex, I’m a virgin. Money is more important to me in a relationship.
