Nollywood Actresses Who Lack Good Acting Skills (Photos)

It's obvious that Nollywood is full of talented actors and actresses. However, some are not really good in the acting business, but they still remain on top of their games due to their beauty and maybe controversies. Here is a list of few of such actresses.

1)Juliet Ibrahim - Juliet is a very beautiful and curvy actress, but she tops this list because she is not good in the acting business. Juliet lacks the facial expressions needed to convey the message her roles require. It's obvious that Juliet gets roles because of her beauty.
2)Lilian Bach - Lilian and Juliet are in the Same category. Lilian is very hot and beautiful. Lilian's beauty can make a monk fall, but her acting skill is nothing to write home about.
3) Angela Okorie - Angela is a very pretty actress. Her beauty is the main thing that brings roles to her. At the moment, she is the most sought after actress after Mercy Johnson. But Angela can't act very well and convincingly. She knows this and even admitted it herself. " When I started, I wasn’t really good at the job, but I’ve improved a lot", Angela said in a recent interview. But, has she really improved?
4)Ruky Sanda - Ruky is simply an over rated actress. She can't really act.
5)Eve Esin - I can't watch any film featuring Eve, unless there are several other good actors in the film. Eve keeps soaring higher despite her poor acting skills.
6)Regina Askia - Regina is very beautiful with hazel eyes. An ex-beauty queen, but Regina couldn't really act very convincingly when she was still active in the industry. Although she later improved before her relocation.
7)Tonto Dikeh- I know many will be shocked to find Tonto's name here. Well, Tonto is not that good in acting; her diction is not always good, sometimes she over acts. Tonto manages to remain relevant with controversies. Nevertheless, Tonto's best role was in 'The Illiterate '.

Who else is missing in this list? Remind me. Who do you think should not be on this list?

Top Ten Leading Farms In Nigeria, Their Owners - Business

OLUSEGUN OBASANJO (OBASANJO FARM)
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is not only a retired army officer, former head of state and politician, he is also a successful farmer. He owns Ota Farm, which is also called Obasanjo Farms. The large farm was formally opened on October 8, 1979, a week after Obasanjo handed over power to a civilian administration on October 1, 1979. At inception, the farm took off as Temperance Enterprises Limited (Farming Venture). It later became Obasanjo Farms Nigeria Limited.

ABDULSALAMI ABUBABAKAR (MAIZUBE FARMS)
What makes General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) significant today in Nigeria and beyond is not just his successful military career or the fact that he willingly handed over power to a democratically elected government in 1999 to usher in the Fourth Republic. He has a stake in the Nigerian agricultural sector, being the owner of Maizube Farms Limited, which is helping to cater for the food needs of many Nigerians today.

Maizube Farms Limited is located at Km 26, Minna-Bida Road, Minna, Niger State, where General Abubakar is from. The 500-hectare multi product farm has both livestock and crop sections and today, it is proudly one of the stable sources of crop and animal products upon which Nigerians depend for food and other uses.

MURTALA NYAKO (SEBORE FARMS)
Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako (rtd), the executive governor of Adamawa State may be more popular from the political perspective to many, but he is one of the most successful Nigerian farmers today. Few know that he is the owner of Sebore Farms in Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa State.
Murtala Nyako was born at Mayo-Belwa, to Alhaji Hamman-Yero, a notable merchant and Hajiya Maryam Daso who was keen on Islamic studies and herbal medicine, on August 27, 1943.
Nyako was born a cattle owner, as his mother had been allocated some cows for her offspring before his birth. So he started what has snowballed into an integrated commercial farm today as a cattle farm. Even throughout his career, in the Navy and in politics, Nyako was never distracted from developing and expanding his coast in the agricultural sector, the result of which is his success story today.

Anadariya Farms thrived well in poultry produce. For instance, it was noted for exporting poultry birds and eggs to Saudi Arabia twice a week using a Boeing 747 plane.
However, after decades of activity, the farm experienced some challenges and stopped operations until recently, when Dantata Jr. came on board and injected viability into the large farm. The CEO came with refined vigour, to ensure the farm maintains a successful track record.
He has a background in investment and banking and was a trader of various commodities in Europe before coming back to Nigeria. He also has a certificate in feed production and broiler management obtained in North Carolina.
Suffice it to say that he had equipped himself with the necessary training before stepping into the business.

This led to new interest in production of broiler, catfish, fish fingerling and other forms of animal produce. The farm has grown to become one of the biggest farms in Nigeria and one of the nation’s prides in the agricultural sector.

ARINZE ONEBUNNE (JOVANA FARMS)
Prince Arinze Onebunne is the successful managing consultant and CEO of Jovana Farms, located in Mushin, Lagos. Nagari Integrated Dairy is one of the farms currently being operated in the country on a commercial level. It is reputed to be one of the largest single integrated dairy farms in Africa. It covers 1,200 hectares of land and has 7,000 Holstein cattle. In view of the quality of the products it churns out, the claim that it is among the top suppliers of high quality farm and dairy products in Africa is justified.
Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, a former governor of Nasarawa State and now a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is the man behind Nagari
Integrated Dairy Farm. Although his fame on the political scene has overshadowed his agricultural exploits,
Abdullahi can be described as an ccomplished farmer. The success story of Nagari Integrated Farm is the result of the enterprising nature of this farmer, lawyer, engineer, technocrat and consummate politician.

This has made it a benchmark for the efficient production of high quality dairy products.

ALHAJI WAHAB IYANDA FOLAWIYO (FOLAWIYO FARMS LIMITED)
Folawiyo Farms Limited, located on Yinka Folawiyo Avenue, Apapa, Lagos, was incorporated on October 4, 1985. Folawiyo’s journey to greatness began back in 1957 when he founded Yinka Folawiyo and Sons Limited, an import and export business empire that includes holdings in shipping, banking, construction, agriculture and energy. It is therefore not out of proportion to say Folawiyo’s business concerns traverse the entire length and breadth of the Nigerian economic terrain.

PETER ADENIYI (ANU-OLUWA FARMS)
Mr Peter Adeniyi, perhaps, did not understand fully the fortunes he was sowing to harvest when he founded Anu-Oluwa Farms in Ibadan, the ancient capital city of Oyo State. The farm, which has special interest in poultry and egg production for the Nigerian market, has become one of the largest farms in Nigeria.
The farm also sells livestock feeds and materials, table eggs, day-old chicks, point of lays, fish and fish fingerlings and livestock vaccines. Adeniyi is one of the most successful farmers in Nigeria.

Tips For Maintaining A Long Distance Relationship - Romance

House this read up might help you in coping with your Long Distance Relationship

Author Lia Togliatti

My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for quite a long time. We met almost 10 years ago in NY. We had an instant attraction, it was love at first sight. We spent a wonderful summer together, and even though we didn't expect it to go any further than a summer romance it was terribly hard to say goodbye.

He flew back to his home country and 2 weeks after that I went home too. We still kept in touch, but school, work, home, friends and just regular routine took its toll. Slowly but surely we stop messaging each other. I went back to NY the next summer but he didn't.

They say time is the best doctor and I agree. The pain wasn't as sharp anymore, but I couldn't get him out of my mind. He started messaging me out of the blue, and I felt butterflies in my stomach again. But we were oceans apart, both teens, not knowing how to work it out. At that time I was dating someone so was he but I wasn't happy. Neither was he.

Few years in the future.

He messaged me before the New Years saying he couldn't stop thinking about me, and I knew pretty well what he meant. We decided to try and work this whole thing out. We are together now, we are older, wiser, we learnt from our mistakes.

I came up with tips for maintaining a healthy long distance relationship:

1. Try to talk regularly, especially before going to bed. Use Viber, Phone, anything that can help you. It gives each of you some sort of security that you are not with someone else, you are loyal.

2. Skype and Facetime. It's very important to see each other, laugh together, it brings you closer.

3. Send each other some gifts, postcards, letters (letters are way better in this case than messages). It shows you care for each other, and it brings that childish joy when you open those packages.

4. Focus on your goals in other areas of your life. It helps you grow and makes you more interesting.

5. Share knowledge. Telling each other how much you love and miss each other is good but it can get too much. To avoid it, keep learning, keep reading, and exchange your knowledge. It helps your relationship big time.

6. Don't forget, there is gonna be distractions, time difference isn't an easy part, but you should always keep in mind you are doing it for your happiness.

If it's worth it, work for it!

WHAT! Baale, Four Others Kill & Bury Housewife In Lagos [PHOTOS]

The police at Okokomaiko Division in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested the Baale of Mebamu Kingdom, Chief Mosiu Adio Hassan, and four others over the alleged murder of a housewife.

The woman was shot dead and secretly buried in the area without her husband’s consent to cover up the crime.

It was learnt that the couple was attacked because they are related to the former Baale known as Kolawale, who was dethroned by Hassan last year.

The woman died a few days after from the gun shot wounds, while her husband survived the attack.

The deceased (Faith Elo Ibrahim, shot dead by Baale’s aides)
The incident happened at Mechanic Bus Stop near the Baale’s palace in Mebamu area in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos.

It was gathered that while Ibrahim was still in a hospital recovering from the gun shot wounds, the Baale allegedly buried the woman without police report and autopsy or even informing her husband.

Narrating what happened, Ibrahim said he went to the market to buy some food items with his late wife on the fateful day.

After buying what they needed that evening and were returning home, they were accosted by some men with cutlasses and guns close to his house and the Baale’s palace.

He said they asked him where they were going or coming from that evening.

Ibrahim said while he was still explaining,  one of them hit his back with a cutlass, while another he identified as Wale pointed the gun he was carrying at him and shot him and his wife and fled.

He said he was shot at his waist while his wife was badly injured both in her waist and other parts of her body and she later died because of the injuries.

Ibrahim said they were left at the scene and neighbours who knew them and saw what happened rushed them to a private hospital, Ademola Medical Centre at Ijanikin area,  where his wife eventually died two days after.

He alleged that while he was still in pains at the hospital, the Baale conspired with other people to bury his wife secretly without informing him.

He said since the incident happened, their only daughter, Opeyemi, had kept asking him about her mother.

Ibrahim said those behind the death of his wife must be brought to justice.

When newsmen contacted Baale Hassan, he confirmed the incident and said it was the security men that shot the victims and he only intervened to settle the matter peacefully.
(Bashiru Ibrahim, with gun injury)
He said he settled with the family of the deceased before she was buried and declined to comment on the allegations that he  illegally owned weapons and his thugs harassed residents of the area.

A visit to the Okoko Police Division, the DPO, Richard Temple, who confirmed the arrest, said the matter had been transfered to SARS.

He declined to make further comments and referred our reporter to SARS or PPRO concerning the matter.

78-yr-old dead man comes back to life at funeral home (PHOTO)

78-year-old Walter “Snowball” Williams died late Wednesday night. Thursday, he was back to life.

Holmes County Coroner Dexter Howard confirms he pronounced Williams dead late Wednesday. He also confirms Williams is alive again.

WJTV traveled to Lexington to speak with Williams’ family. They believe his second chance at life is a gift from God.

“After they got through checking him, the coroner, they pronounced him dead and put him in a plastic bag, zipped him up and took him, put him in the hearse and they left,” says Eddie Hester, Williams’ nephew.
Two hours later, while some family was mourning and others were sleeping after an emotional day, they got a phone call.

Man pronounced dead in body bag, comes back alive at funeral home (PHOTO, VIDEO)

“The mortician said something wasn’t right,” says Williams’ daughter, Martha A. Lewis. “His leg started moving.”
The family was told to go straight to the hospital. The man they thought was dead was back to life.
“Seemed like he had more life in him again,” says Lewis. “And then we had just stopped talking, and he told us ‘what did you all stop talking for?’ Hallelujah, thank you, Jesus!”

Instead of planning a funeral, this family is celebrating, singing Snowball’s favorite song outside the hospital.
Is there a medical explanation? When we talked to Holmes County Coroner Dexter Howard Thursday, we asked him ‘how did this happen?’ He calls it a miracle.

“So it was not my daddy’s time,” says Lewis. “I don’t know how much longer he’s going to grace us and bless us with his presence, but hallelujah, we thank Him right now!”
“It’s a miracle,” says Hester. “It’s just God. And I thank him for it

2Face, Wizkid, Omawumi Attacked By Fans

Some fans of Nigerian entertainers 2Face Idibia, Wizkid and Omawumi are really upset with the trio and other acts for performing at the Nigerian Centenary celebrations which took place on Thursday 27th February at Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The trio and other stars including IK Osakioduwa and Funke Akindele who were the Masters of Ceremony incurred the wrath of some Nigerian youths for participating in a show they termed as uncalled for and a wanton waste of money, and coming shortly after more than 50 students of the Federal Government College, Yobe State, were slaughtered by Islamic militant sect, Boko Haram.

The fans are not happy that someone like 2Face who recently berated the country’s politicians in an interview with a foreign radio station could also identify with the same politicians because of money.

The event which is in celebration of Nigeria’s 100 years of existence has drawn the flak of many who feel that hosting the show with so much pomp and pageantry at a time the nation should be mourning the death of innocent children is uncalled for.

Though many of their fans are of the view that it is the only way they could participate in the sharing of the national cake, others still think they have betrayed a majority of Nigerian youths who are feeling the brunt of the present government misdemeanors.

What do you make of the situation?

You want me to cause trouble by revealing all of my thoughts. I want us to go as far as possible in this competition and in peace.”

Kidnappers Demand N500m Ransom To Free President Jonathan's Uncle

Abductors of Inengite Nitabai, the 70-year old uncle of President Goodluck Jonathan, have demanded a N500m ransom, Sahara Reporters report.

A security source said that the abductors threatened to kill him if the family fails to produce the money. The source also said the family had constituted a committee to evaluate the demand, establish negotiations with the abductors and facilitate his release.

He said the kidnappers had also warned against the involvement of security operatives in the matter.
"The kidnappers contacted the family four days after and demanded a whopping sum of N500m. It is believed that the family of the victim has begun negotiations with the hoodlums," he said.

Tension and panic set in when the kidnappers failed to establish any contact with the family of their victim three days after he was abducted.

That development was said to have rattled the Presidency, which reportedly ordered a massive deployment of security in Otuoke, the hometown of the Jonathans, and the Niger Delta creeks.
The gunmen abducted Nitabai on Sunday after collecting about N400,000 from his wife.

I Can Act Nude If The Money Is Right – Nollywood Actress,Oma Iyasara

Fast rising Nollywood actress, Oma Iyasara in a recent interview talks about pornography movies in Nollywood, acting nude and her kind of man.

Omo who has featured in a number of blockbusters like ‘Damage’ by Uche Jombo, ‘Secret Weapon’ alongside Eucharia Anunobi, Emeka Ike and Chika Ike among many others said she can act nude in a movie as far as the pay is worth it.

Excerpts:
On pornography creeping into Nollywood and if its true pornography makes the movies more real
I don’t think pornography makes a movie real, the way the world is now, sex sells, so pornography is just a decoy to attract people to movies. But it doesn’t work for me because it’s not in our tradition and culture

On acting nude if the money is right
Yes, I may consider going nude to interpret a role but definitely not to the extent of going fully nude. Besides, that is why we have body doubles.
On her selling points and how it has helped her
I will say my selling point is my jovial attitude, and my eyes. Yes, I will say they have helped in a lot of ways and will still help in the future. My jovial nature has opened doors for me in ways I can’t explain; be it in people recommending me or just wanting to help me, because they just want to see me grow.

On her kind of man
A good conversationalist with a good sense of humour is my kind of man, any day. If a man makes me laugh a lot, he has a chance to my heart. Then his manners and how he treats other people count. Though looks are not very important, it is an added advantage.

Omo is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Imo State University. In 2011 she enrolled in the prestigious Royal Arts Academy owned by Em
